Posted July 31, 2025Jul 31 When it comes to seperating iPhone motherboards. We all know the regular temperature range used for separation is around 170°C to 180°C, and this works perfectly fine for devices like iPhone X up to 11 Pro Max. Separation at this stage is usually easy and safe. But for iPhone 12 series and above, some of you might have experienced a common issue: 👉 After separation, the phone refuses to power on — it just trips off. So today, I want to explain the safest method to prevent that problem when separating the motherboard from iPhone 12, 13, and 14 Pro Max. We used to apply 230°C to separate these models — which is the standard temperature for many techs. But over time, we noticed something serious: 🔥 Using 230°C can damage the motherboard, especially sensitive components like the CPU or PMU. ✅
